Course Objectives:

Strategies for assessing an emergency scene, prioritizing care, and coordinating effectively with emergency medical services (EMS) will be covered.

Introduction to Emergency First Aid:

Understanding the importance of immediate response and the role of a first aider in emergency situations.

Basic Life Support (BLS):

Techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), clearing airway obstructions, and using an AED in cases of sudden cardiac arrest.

Medical Emergencies:

Recognizing and responding to medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, diabetic emergencies, and allergic reactions.

Trauma and Injury Management:

Assessing and managing injuries including wounds, bleeding, fractures, sprains, and strains until professional medical help arrives.
